Hi! I'm desperately searching for a black tray for glasses (part n. 51443427240) for my 2007 z4 coupe. Apparently it is currently unavailable online. I will either buy it or exchange with a grey tray for glasses (part n. 51443427263)!
 
Thank you for your reply! Every purchase I've made from sites listing the part as available was refunded due to unavailability. I'm starting to think that the only solution is to paint my grey part! Yet, maybe someone is in my same situation (black part instead of grey)!
 
Didn't realise the were lying about availability, as most of the ones I've used (i.e. those listed) have been honest enough to say when something is NLA.

However, some dealer will have the odd NLA item in stock from cancelled orders, etc. But that's like finding a needle in a haystack.

BTW, the code you've provided for your beige box is actually for a grey box, so may want to check the colour/number :thumbsup:

Maybe a wrap or dab of Plastikote may be the short-term, easier solution?
 
Of course it will, yet the risk is that the colour will not stay on the plastic, and I ruin a (rather rare) part

Plasticote will just peel off - and a decent wrap shouldn't cause any harm either as long as you use the right chemicals to remove any residue.
 
Be careful you pick the right one-
Plasti-dip will peel off
Plastikote absolutely wont!!

I’d sell your one (or plan to do so) knowing you’ll get a similar premium as the one you’ll buy.
