E86 coupe indoor car cover recommendation?

Hi all. Am looking for an indoor car cover for my ///M coupe if anybody has tried and tested recommendations?
The garage is 100% watertight without damp - just gets very dusty.

So far have read up on this one only
https://www.stormcarcovers.co.uk/collections/bmw/products/bmw-car-covers

Thanks.

I don't use one at all as it seems to scratch/mist up the paint over the hibernating months, no matter how clean the car or cover was. Dust gets up between and ventilation etc takes care of the minimal movements.

I just let it be, then washes it off by spring.

I use a Cosmos cover on my 89. It was reasonably priced is easy to use and store and worked well when I used over the Winter months.

Thanks. Was it a snug fit and does it cover down to the wheels also? Any side pics?

It is a snug fit and covers most of the wheels. I haven’t any side view photos because my car is a tight fit in the garage. The only other photo is from the front which I have attached.D0F30398-234C-49C7-9AE9-35388D9EC0DC.jpeg

Specialised vehicle covers. Perfect fit and a lovely material. It’s premium, but Mclaren and high end sports car companies use them.

I’ve got an indoor cover from https://www.hamiltonclassic.co.uk/acatalog/IndoorCoverCarBreathableDustFree.html
it’s got a soft lining and comes with a bag to keep it in when not in use.

I've just purchased an indoor super soft cover from classic additions. I thought pretty reasonably priced - will take a pic tomorrow when fitted!

One thing you can do if your not keen on a full cover is buy a great big soft cloth that you just drape over the car, works and probably slightly more friendly on the paintwork.

In the end I just let it get dusty as I'm too worried about swirls

Got mine off member estoril when he sold his mc it’s thick fleece. Can’t remember the name but he gave it to me for free so I gave him £20 just to say thank you. Great cover. Will update with the name when I’m home next but remember he said it was around £200 brand new

This is my classic additions one - really pleased with the fit, and it's super soft material so no concerns with swirls either :)

Medium Cosmos cover on my Z4MR. Pretty good fit. Very soft and stupid cheap £36.

I’ve got the outdoor cover and it’s brilliant. Feels like a custom fit because it’s stretchy.

10% off for forum members too - speak to Adrian (bit late for you Ed, sorry!).

I also have a cover from Classic Additions, the Super Soft Stretch Indoor Car Cover with mirror pockets. It sits very neat and tight and it is soft and stretchy.
It covers the rims but not the tires at the very bottom. :bag:
Note, however, that the pockets are almost meaningless because they sit too far forward. You can get the mirrors in the pockets but then you have to pull hard in the cover.

I’ve used Cover Craft covers on my last few cars and now on my Z4M Coupe. The fit is tight, with mirror pockets that work well and it covers all but about 10cm at the bottom of the tyres.

Plenty of fabric options, too.

I don’t have any pictures, unfortunately.

[ref]jamiez[/ref], I've just had a "Concours Auto Products" bespoke indoor cover arrive... fitted beautifully and is super soft on the inside... has some nice features too such as soft clip pockets to stop the clips clattering on the bodywork, its elasticated really nicely at front and rear too; and nice big chunky tie down loops (again protected) should you feel so inclined. I plan to suspend mine from the ceiling of the garage to make it less of a faff for having to put away and unfurl it every time; hence the chunky loops will be useful for this
