WANTED E86 Coupe Auto PROPSHAFT. Help / Advice Appreciated

Hi folks,
Project Ruby Coupe has hit a stumbling block, as needs a new Propshaft.
My indy tells me BMW want over £1k for the part.
Have checked with the usual group of friendly and helpful breakers on facebook, without joy.

Part no. is 26107546227. I understand it fits N52 powered AUTO E85/E86.

If anyone could help or advise, would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi mate,
Getting squealing noises (not brake related) at very low speeds / reversing.
As I'm useless with a spanner - have shown my local chap as well as trusted indy, who have both pointed to the prop shaft
 
I think the Manchester one has been scrapped sadly

Quarry motors have a couple of e86 in Sheffield may be worth a call
 
If you can't find one, they can be re-built. It happens all the time on commercial vehicles and I have had a couple modified on the sprite shortened or with new UJs and different splines. I've also had the E86 one checked out along with the drive shafts UJs. A 'net search should find a specialist "reasonably" close to you.
 
As an example I used Driveshaft Services Ltd in Bridgend to shorten a Sprite / midget prop and put a Toyota splined end on it. They turned it around in a couple of days and cost was no more than about £150 as far as I can recall.
