First of all can I ask that this thread doesn't turn into a massive debate over price etc.............I'm looking for a quick uncomplicated sale, not because I need to sell just that it would suit me at the moment.

I don't currently have my car advertised for sale but if someone is looking for an E86 at the cheaper end of the market then mine is worth a look.

I bought this car as a project with no intention of selling but a potential business venture and house extension has made me think that if I can get my money back I will let the car go to a good home.

It's a 2007 SI SE with 127000 miles on the clock.
FSH with receipts, some main dealer but mostly independent specialists.
Five previous owners.
Twelve months MOT.

Service Info:
05-01-2007 Pre-delivery inspection Sytner BMW Leicester.
12-05-2008 Oil Service Sytner BMW Leicester at 13782 miles.
03-12-2009 Inspection One Sytner BMW Leicester at 29391 miles.
05-09-2011 Oil Service Autotechnik at 45689 miles.
14-06-2012 Inspection One Autotechnik at 73145 miles.
15-11-2013 Oil Service Stratstone Aylesbury at 88813 miles.
19-12-2014 Inspection Two Hoyer Indi BMW at 107000 miles.
22-12-2015 Inspection One Independent at 119715 miles.
14-12-2016 Inspection Two Stratstone Derby at 124101 miles.
05-12-2017 Oil Service Stratstone Derby at 127000 miles

It's a pretty basic spec but to be perfectly honest I think that some of the options such as Nav in a car of this age are pointless. It does however have ice cold aircon, cruise control & rear parking sensors which are all useful.

The important bits are that in the last couple of months I have fitted the following.

New starter motor.
New CSL wheels (19 inch) from CM wheels with OEM centre caps.
New Goodyear F1 Asymmetric tyres (235/35R19 front & 265/30R19 rear)
New Eibach Pro springs all round.
New Bilstein B4 shocks all round.
New front anti-roll bar links.
New oil & Filter.
New air filter.
Clubsport gear knob.
New ignition key, genuine BMW replacement.

The previous owner has also fitted discs & pads all round within the last 5K miles.

The car drives great, it's quick, reliable, economical and turns heads everywhere it goes.

The negatives are that it is over ten years old so does have the odd mark here & there..........no corrosion however.

There is a slight rattle from the O/S/R which I suspect are the rear anti-roll bar bushes..........genuine set come with the car.
Hand brake performance is the usual BMW standard & just passed the MOT.

So it's not perfect but I think it looks great and it's had about two grand spent on it in the last six months.

If you are genuinely interested please get in touch, I'm located in Stoke-on-Trent and will leave it on here for a couple of weeks before I go down the ebay route etc.

I have a couple of people looking to buy the CSLs :( :( :( :(

If anyone wants a really cheap car then turn up with a set of wheels and you can leave the CSLs here

I forgot to add that the old springs come with the car if you want to increase the ride height & remove the Eibachs

I've decided to lower the price before the car is listed elsewhere at the weekend.

You can take it as it stands with the old springs, new anti-roll bar bushes & brackets for £6500.

No offers at this price please

Worth spending a little time removing the shine from the seats , my guess is its those that are your biggest hurdle to a quick sale so making them look as good as poss will be worth the effort .

Well i can be a little unorthodox :D but from experience the Bmw leather will take some punishment without ruin & come up looking more than acceptable .
At the moment they are showing the miles like a beacon but a couple of hours will transform them
Initially i use a solution of cheap "Whizz" leather cleaner + swarfega :o applied gently with a worn kitchen green fleece :o
Then apply a decent leather lotion , ive been using Ruskin https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ruskin-Leather-Cream-Conditioner-237ml/dp/B00QQP298O/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1527271924&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=Ruskin+leather+lotion

but been told "mr leather " wipes https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dr-Leather-Advanced-Cleaner-Conditioner/dp/B00DU7LZN6/ref=sr_1_7?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1527272013&sr=1-7&keywords=car+leather+wipes

or Dodo juice leather sealer are top performers too https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dodo-Juice-Supernatural-SNLS250-Protection/dp/B00DS42G1Q/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1527272051&sr=1-2&keywords=dodo+juice++leather
