I’m going to regret this but I have to sell my Z4 E86 to raise funds for a daily driver estate.
The car has done 118350 miles, has had 9 owners, and the MOT runs out on 1st April 2025. I think anyone who looks at the car would agree that it has been looked after all of its life. It’s a decent, straight, and honest car.
The car is carbon black, which is a very dark blue / purple. It's a beautiful colour which changes hue dependant on the light. The last photo shows how it can look but you need to see it in the flesh to appreciate it fully.
The MV 2s have recently been refurbed in Lamborghini Matt bronze. Front tyres are virtually new Michelin pilot sports, the rears are Vredstien Giugiario design with 6mm tread.
The car has full service history and was last serviced at 117707 miles - 15050 miles until next inspection. Don’t expect main dealer history, it’s various garages and the last service was carried out by me using Shell Helix Ultra and Mann filters.
In the last 500 miles I have replaced with new original or OE spec parts; water pump and thermostat, both disa valves, both post cat O2 sensors, and both vanos solenoids. I have also had the steering wheel refurbished by royals, added a genuine zhp weighted gear knob and changed various switches, cup holders, badges etc. I thought I would be keeping this car for a long time so have made it the best example that I could. Last owner replaced; brake pipes, discs n pads, calipers, rear suspension shocks and springs, new cam cover and gasket, diff and gearbox oil etc etc and the car has done little mileage since. All receipts are in the history file.
The car drives really well and needs for nothing. It has a nice M sport spec with xenon lights, heated electric memory seats, rain sensor, Bluetooth connectivity, ice cold auto air con, etc etc It's in decent condition, there is no rust bubbling anywhere including the common rot area around the tailgate and tailgate window. Just the usual stone chips that you would expect but as you can see from the photos the paint buffs up well. A machine polish would make it pop - it was on my list of jobs to do this summer but alas I didn't get to do it. Two keys and full book pack are all present and correct.
The price is £7250 ono. I have a few spares, and a lap top with BMW scanner installed, that will go with the car if bought by a forum, or future, forum member. .
