Hello peeps,

I have an Audiovox unit to fit to my beloved coupe :) . I think that I need to remove the boot trim to find the 3/6 pin CD connectors and then try to route it into the storage compartment (where the CD changer usually lives). I have done a web search but all the relevant links have expired. Any tips ? I don't want to bugger anything up by forcing stuff.

The last E86 I did I went from the front instead to avoid damaging the plastic carpet clips.

If you go from the boot you need to pull the carpet clips out.

PVR,

Yes I thought of going in from the front but removing the centre console looks like a real pain ?

Much easier than an e85, about 20 minutes to do it. I did that one in a pub
