E86 bird bath aka water on rear boot lid

The Stormforce cover that I use is 100% effective, they are very good. Are you absolutely sure it is leaking, or could that be water seeping back out from under the seal where it has already accumulated?
 
Yes that is what I was thinking as I said in previous reply about the seals . I saw this on Benderloch`s post below :
