Is this beam pattern OK? Not sure if the little peak in front of the Escort is normal or if I need to check the bulb position?

Are you parked on an incline? That looks dangerously low for your headlight beams.

Get someone to use an optical alignment machine at a shop and align your headlights or do the 25' wall method (search youtube for that)

The little peaks are normal so you don’t dazzle oncoming traffic.

Most MOT garages will adjust it if it’s out, it happened to one of our Mini’s. I think it was £5 more than normal. They set it up so it’s right for the car, so the beam height/level and ‘peaks’ are in the correct positions... I tried adjusting but it’s kind of hard when the only thing you have is a house on an incline!
