E86 angel eye LEDs

Is it possible to fit LED for the AEs in factory E86 Xenon headlights?
The ones with one AE on each headlight.
Looking to make it white from factory yellow. I know the brightness won't be great but it will at least match the low beams colour.
It's not one of those remove whole bumper to get to the bulb jobs is it?

Yup, cut and shat mate! No real 'quick and easy' way I'm afraid! Well worth the effort though! I'll find a link to the thread...

Cut and shat? I think I would too if I had to cut my lights open!

Isn't there a 3rd party LED version of that? China is usually first to make these things.

I fitted some LED bulbs to my halo's... They werent very effective... Only light half the ring!

Eventually gave up and put the original back in.

Don't suppose you have a link to the ones you have tried?

The E60 LCI halogens have a similar bulb (the connector is different) but with a 10W LED bulb worked quite well.
Obviously nowhere near the brightness of the factory F10 AEs but it did the job.
Just looking for a way to get the AEs to white without sawing the headlights in half :(

I fitted some SMED LED's into the stock holder - which i got from a breakers...

The light i think was too directional so didnt light up the ring.

You can get 10w halogens which are brighter but still yellow :(
