Fantastic condition inside, out and underneath. Meticulously cared for. Ex Zachary Luke car - quoted as "the best condition coupe he's ever had".

Purchased only 2 months ago for £18k from a forum member off market having searched for the best possible example. In terms of the reason for moving on so quickly, I was hasty going for a two seater weekend car just because of the exceptional condition, when I have two young children that want to join the fun, so I’m taking the hit and searching for a 2+2 - probably an XKR.

As you know being here it’s an appreciating classic in the making. Having scoured the market when buying, most examples I saw were corroding inside-out and/or had big gaps in history. This is a fantastic example for someone wanting the best long term prospect.

£15,500

Thats a cracking looking car, if it was an Auto I would be interested. The used car market is dead at the moment, where specialised cars are concerned. Have you tried the Car and Classic web.

Not sure how useful an XKR would be those back seats have no room at all :D

GLWTS

Good enough to potter about in I hope. 6 and 10 year old should fit hopefully.

Dare I say it but a TT might be a better bet. From what I have seen those kids would have to put their feet on the seats in the back, legs wouldn't fit. Or maybe as a left field option Peugeot RCZ R is sporty and has usable rear seats, super rare too (I almost bought one).

Add to that list a GT86/BRZ. I had a mk1 TT for many years when the kids where little, then got the GT86 when they grew out of it. Both great cars in their way (the TT is a marvel of compact packaging). Neither has the sheer drama of a XKR, but it is strictly crossed legs in the back seats.

Or keep the 993 which has fairly usable seats.

Irrespective of the choice, this one needs to go first - so good luck with the sale

Thanks all. I love the XK Dynamic R 5.0 in black. Pretty set on that one now.

Just need a buyer. Might have to drop it to £15,500 :)
