E86 2007 screeching noise when starting cold

Hi, when I start my 2007 Coupe when cold it starts without any problems but just as it starts there is a screeching sounds that lasts for a second or two. When the engine has heated up and I start it doesn't make the sound. Mechanic thought it could have been the timing belt and changed that but it didn't fix it.

Any ideas welcome?
 
Drive belt i think you mean as opposed to timing belt which these cars don't have .
Possibly starter motor related ( not disengaging when cold / first start ) or tensioner pulley needing attention
 
Mr wilks has it bang on... either starter motor pinion not retracting probably (just needs clean and lubricating) or alternator belt. The latter is automatically tensioned so less likely (unless the tensioner is duff).
