E85 Z4 Roof/Soft-top

Hi all,

Looking for a convertible rooftop for someone. The car in need is a 2003 E85 3.0i. The roof was in perfect condition but someone smashed the rear glass, so the whole soft-top will need replacing as the rear screen is not a separate item.

It needs to be black and without any rips or tears.

Thanks.

I haven't got a spare roof, but I am willing to fit it for you and make an allowance on the old roof if you want to leave it with me for spares.
(Assuming your geographically near enough to Bristol to make that work for us?)

Drop me a PM if interested once you find one.

Hi Number5,

Unfortunately I'm located in Scotland which is quite far off from you. If I do however find another roof I can certainly keep the old aside for you to arrange your own courier to collect? Just out of curiosity, what are you needing off it?

Let me know if interested.

Thanks

Hi Sail,
It's just useful to have spare hydraulic lines, and wiring looms mainly. When I relocate peoples roof motors I sometimes find other faults and having the spares knocking about means I can fix the issues all in the same visit.

it's a shame your so far away :|

That's understandable. As a goodwill gesture I can keep the left over bits from the old roof and you can have them without me having to post a whole roof out to you, as its probably useless with a smashed rear screen anyway.

Cheers!

That would be great . If you're happy to strip out the lines and sensor loom, I'm happy to more than cover the postage and make a forum donation. Thank you.

Send me a PM once your all sorted and we'll make some arrangements.

I've seen and picked up tidy roofs for c£250 that have just needed a clean, if thats any use as a guide.

Yep no problem, I'll keep the bits aside when I source a new roof.

Where do you buy your roofs from? I'm needing one in good nick and no tears.

Cheers!
