I’m selling this car on behalf of my elderly neighbour who now finds it too hard to get in and out of the car.
She’s owned the car since 2003 when it was bought from the BMW dealership as their demonstrator car.
It’s been garaged every day of its life for the last 22 years and has a fully stamped service book. Next service is due in 10k miles.
It’s low mileage, at only 48k miles and has the six cylinder 2.2 engine.
This is a rare opportunity to own a 1 owner car, that’s been in the same ownership for over 22 years, and genuinely dry stored. I’ve lived next door for 9 years and can testify to this.
It comes with an MOT until March 2026 (passed in March 2025 with advisory for 2 x tyres).
I’ve taken the car for a test drive before advertising so I can comment genuinely on its condition.
The engine is smooth and quiet. It drives like a car of 48k miles. It’s lovely.
It comes with all the original booklets, service book with stamps, 2 x keys, wind deflector and a number of the old tax discs, showing it’s provenance. It even has the original first aid kit. The car still has its original registration plates from BMW.
The bad bits. The wheels need a refurbishment. The bodywork has marks and scuffs. The drivers seat bolster is worn.
The new owner of the car will either keep it as is, a genuine car that’s been used. Or they will take it to their trusted body shop and have it made mint. That’s up-to the next keeper!
I’ve tried to photo the marks the best I can. It’s got a great history but please don’t expect it to be showroom. It isn’t. It’s had 23 years of daily driving.
