e85 with nokia car kit ????

hi new to the z4 forum , just purchased a 1994, 30i se .it has a phone cradle installed in the centre pulldown with a nokia cradle , is there any way together this to a bluetooth system , i have seen a few adapters online but not sure about them, also can you update the sat nav dvd from original.

I have/had the same. Phone cradle can be swapped out but your limited due to size constraints Iphone 5s is probably max size. cradles and back hub are not cheap either, assuming you can find one. The cradle is also just a dock for aerial and power, you still need to pair the phone via your blue tooth. But again this is limited as it's an older blue tooth version. ( e'g wont work 100% with My samsung s7 edge)
Satnav disc's can be upgraded. Got mine from here ( https://www.satnavupgrades.co.uk )....but dont expect much as it still 16year old tech with a newer map. hope that helps..

Early cars had some issues with newer phones. You can replace with a newer ULF to overcome this.

As above though cradle only used for power and signal boost. Never used mine, just connected with BT.

Its the bluetooth module. Apparently you can plug n play a newer version if you can find one.

how did you connect your car bluetooth system with your phone? Would prefer to use the buttons on the steering wheel rather than a parrot I've got fitted.
