Hi Simon.
Would this cure my parking position fault. My wipers do a sweep on intermittent then flick up about 2" to park

Hi David,

I imagine it would, the is the compete unit so there is nothing else that plays a part in the mechanism that could effect it that I can see.

Maybe someone else could confirm/give their thoughts

You had no parking issues beforehand with it?

Hi David,

I never have any issues at all. :driving:

Also very easy to fit/remove.

It’s only 2 bolts once the scuttle panel has been unclipped.

Okay I'll take that as well....you might as well send me the whole car

David, what condition are your wiper arms and blades in?

I bought some new Bosch wipers (the good ones for around £35) not to long ago, and I believe my arms are in great condition too.

If they’re use to you I’ll send you these as well

David - just as another input on your wiper issue - I had exactly the same problem... but rather than dismantling the wipers that 95% of the forum said I needed to do - I went for the easiest option and replaced the Wiper RELAY first (behind glove box).... it's been perfect since and they now park correctly again. Just putting out there because I don't personally think replacing this will fix it. Don't let me put you off the sale though - I hoard spare parts haha, but just letting you know of "what else" the problem could be on the chance that you get and fit this but still have the problem

That's very interesting thank you...I'll remember this if I still suffer the same issue. Did you have to get an OE relay or are aftermarket ones available?

I got a new one from eBay - Not 100% it's "genuine" however it's still working perfectly fine for me, haven't had a problem since replacing it
