E85 valuation opinions

Hey,

Anybody want to post their view on a 2007 3.0si, manual in black, 44k, 2 owners, FSH up to date, black and white M sport interior, cruise, no nav, basic business radio, new Avon ZZ5's all round on freshly refurbed MV2's, car is in superb condition, just a few little chips on the bonnet, nothing elsewhere, it's really superb. WBAC come in at 6k dead. Dealer sale.

Opinions guys?
 
Unfranchised dealer price with warranty i would expect between £8750k / £10k ? £500 more if main dealer :?

It's up at £10.5k, so high. I paid £2700 for the project Zed and so far £55 spent on it. It needs new discs/pads all round, wheel refurb all 4 corners, bonnet, nose cone and wing tops need painting due to stone chips, the power steering fault is still there. I've got him down to 6.5k plus the project Zed, bearing in mind he's sitting on Lambo's, fezza's, bentleys and Porkers so he can let it sit until it makes it money. Thing is my health is so bad I would struggle to wash a car right now let alone finish the project so I'm thinking get rid and this si could be my only car if I also have to selll the 35is.

Have you tried easing off the shim partway down the steering column ? & i know its old news to you John but the car is kept on trickle charge i assume ?
 
I'm not capable of easing the shim Andy, I get too breathless. I don't have power in the garage I rent but I do put it on trickle overnight on the driveway every now and again, it has no effect, although i haven't changed the battery to be fair. I can't finish it any time soon, I have no idea how long I'm going to be in this state so I'd like rid of it really.
 
9.5k sounds right to me John so not a bad deal chopping on the project.
I was interested in that E85 when it came up but I let myself get talked out of it because of the steering issue, it would be a shame if you had to let it go in finished. Fingers crossed that you get a bit of luck with your health soon mate :thumbsup:
 
Sounds like a reasonable deal to me.

I have a 2006 3.0si, auto in black, 48k, 1 owner (plus me), FSH up to date, M sport interior, no nav, basic business radio, new tyres all round, in really good condition, so very similar spec to what you are looking at, and I'd be hoping for at least 8.5k if I sold it privately. I'd happily pay 9.5k for it at a dealer.
