E85 to E89

Sadly looks like I will be finally selling my E85. The question is which E89 to buy. Is there a difference between the MY10, MY11 and MY12? cosmetically and mechanically.

Not really. The mild face lift was in 2014 IIRC.
There is a greater options list available for the e89 so people are usually looking for as many 'goodies' as possible.

You need to decide on which engine, then manual or auto or DCT if its a 35i. M sport or SE spec.
Leather heated M sports seats, 19" wheels, parking sensors front & rear, upgraded sound system, adaptive suspension, even a heated steering wheel.

Usually, the more powerful cars have the better options list. Good luck with your search

When I test drove one,I found the interior to be nicer but the drive lacking in "fun" and didn't have all the feel that the e85 has. Plus the fast engines are turbo so that again takes away from some of the fun. Have you test drove one?

Really depends on what actual model you're after, what sort of miles you do, what fuel bills are acceptable. Headlights and interior changed a little in later cars, but nothing significant.

.( If you disregard all if this, just get a 35is with nav, heated wheel etc). :D

The roof mechanism was uprated on the later cars as well
