Saw this linked recently. It was a classified ad....the price was £99,999.00! :o :o :o
I wonder what the reserve is now?

Yes this guy documented his progress on the FB Z4 groups. Initially he got a load of flack (from the typical FB morons) but once the project progressed people noticed the huge amount of skill and time put into this, the opinions changed and the haters disapeared.
Many folk didn't approve the 'Z' side profile being removed.
That's a serious amount of work involved. The carbon work looks faultless.
It's a hard sell, though, being an auto, too.
The guy used it to showcase his work for fture projects.

I read from the ad that there is still a lot of work to do to finish it. So it needs someone who knows about building/ restoring cars which makes the sell even harder IMO.

Personally a no from me. Would have been better if they took an E86 and made the targa from that somehow. The rear arches look terribly out of proportion to the rest of the car.

It's not my cuppa, but fair play there's a LOT of work gone into that.

It's got a lot of Ferrari 812 Superfast cues in the rear-end (ooh-errr matron!). It doesn't quite work for me, but fair play, someone's gone to a lot of effort!

Love the front bumper.
That's the best part. Oh and he's taken too much off that steering wheel IMHO.
I saw him building on one of the FB pages and there is lot of filler in it and its big no from me, I never said anything as each to their own and if he's happy with it good on him.

Quite why he's selling it now I don't know, it's cost him a fortune in making moulds etc.

I actually left said FB page as he was posting pics of several times a day and it got annoying.

Yep. I am definitely out then.

I can appreciate it must have taken loads of time, effort and money to get it to that stage, but I'm not really a fan of how it looks.

In any case you'd have to be pretty brave to take on an unfinished one-off project!

Great job and I like it, some nice touches. It does not make sense to me to sell it as unfinished, I agree with the above it will make it harder to sell as an unfinished project

I agree, it would have been better and easier to take an E86 and targa it. Less unique for his showcase though I guess. Coupe looks with roadster experience would be a dream!
