Hello! I'm part way through following this guide http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=82880 for removing the steering column on my 2004 E85.
I've got the column unbolted, but I can't rotate it to remove the motor as the motor is wedged between the metal bracket that the lower dash attaches to and the top of the brake pedal.
Has anybody successfully removed the column from an E85? What am I doing wrong?
I'd rather avoid having to remove the brake pedal as I noticed that the master cylinder is down there too.
Any help would be great!
