Hello all, you might have seen my post about how crows seem to have smashed the rear screen in my soft top....am on the hunt for a replacement soft top. Really gutted because current one is in very very good order, apart from the broken screen.
I am sawbridgeworth and happy to travel but might need hood to be available in lincs so happy to discuss costs associated with that.

Sorted, all being well. Hopefully this all goes to plan, a trip to Dudley required but supply and fit at a very reasonable price. Will updatein time, give details in case this helps others.

i have a glass screen if that would work?
That kind of implies that if you managed to remove one, then maybe they can be fitted rather than a whole roof swap?

I have seen a couple of screens for sale which also have some of the soft top material surrounding the screen edge. Often not very much though, a very old post mentioned finding a car trimmer who had a go at stitching a replacement screen into the hood. Really not sure how successful that was....

I will call Jack Smith in Swansea tomorrow ( suggested on here) to see what he says. Does it have hood material around it or just the glass ?
Cheers for now.

There’s a complete soft top on Facebook market place in Kent (From memory) for circa £220…
Many thanks for this tip Martin, looks like I have, with the help of bigwinn, got this sorted over last couple of days. Kent would have been closer than Dudley but tbh just happy to be making progress on this.

Excellent, from what I’ve read I’m sure Stuart will sort you out. It looks a pretty straightforward job, with two people on hand

Glad you're getting it sorted. Bit of a trip for you with a hole in the window!
But yet again, forum membership has come up trumps.

Indeed, a fair distance. Let's hope it doesn't rain....after much duck tape / gorilla tape and plastic sheet I hope it keeps the water out. It ain't pretty and will take more with me for the journey
