Hello everyone,

I am thinking of retro fitting cruise control on my 2007 2.5i Z4 for a European road trip in August and just wondered if there was anyone local to me who's had a go and knows how to wire it up? I'll happily gove it a go myself otherwise but it's always great if someone has had experience. I haven't bought any parts yet, just thinking about it at this stage.

Thanks in advance.

Jon.

I am looking into this also.
Love my Zed but it's not the most comfortable car over big miles without CC. I am 6"2 and went to Bristol and back from Nottingham yesterday. Boy, was I uncomfortable by the time I got home.

EDIT: also I read the facelift 2007 onwards E85 do not have the plug-in wiring. So cable splicing needs to be done.

Thanks for the replies. I've had a look through the guide and it seems pretty straight forward although there appears to be a few amendments.

Indeed it is a facelift, I'm happy to give it a go myself but it is always reassuring to know someone who has fitted it before and can guide you through the wiring if you get stuck.

Cheers,

Jon.

cruise control so far has been the best modification Ive made to my Zed - cant recommend one enough especially on long distance motorway journeys.

Cant help with the fitting/wiring dilemma as mine is a 53 plate and it was just a case of plug and play.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll have a think and keep you posted. Glad to here it is recommended though.

Cheers,

Jon.
