E85 Rear lights

Seen a few zeds with all red rear lights, how was this look achieved?

Is it legal? I.e. do indicators still light up yellow? Reverse light too? etc.

All red will usually fail an MOT

4 clear spots is a good look and keeps it legal. I actually prefer pre facelift lights and rear bumper

Clear spots? I did a search but they seem to be hard to find/expensive? About £150 a side from BMW?

Yeah that's about right.

Alternative is to put a grey spot over the ambers. Looks good and modern

I would just grab a roll of smoke tint and do trial and error. A whole roll costs £10, so there's plenty to play with

The other option....

If you get green indicator bulbs (even paint your ones) they will light amber through the red!

Did this on a previous car of mine.
