Hi Guys,
new to the forum, but always had BMW's. 320Cd before.
Just a quick question I have pop up nav on my car, however, the previous bmw navs that I have had all have radio listings and you can scroll through (all mk4 systems). However this Z does not have this, instead I have to find the stations manually then program with the buttons. Is this normal? This leaves a big black space below the current station name, which is strange

I think mine normally shows the list of presets below the main station - have you tried presetting more stations? 
Otherwise show us a pic?
