Hi Tuco
I'm interested - is the rim thickness same as standard or been made thicker?
Are you able to post?
Cheers

That's beautiful and I would have had it if I could have used the MSFW buttons. £350 is a bargain considering the cost of the new trim pieces on their own, let alone the refurb too.

They can be made to work. It’s two missing wires that need to be added to the multiplug. Had to do it on mine.

Tell me about it, I tried to repair the originals but they are really thin parts and wouldn't hold.

Out of interest, how much were the trim pieces, I need a couple, do you have the part numbers too please?

Was that for all three spokes?

Been looking into this myself recently as I have plans for my own steering wheel refurb, BMW only sells them in kits for all three spokes, either with MSFW holes or without, and there's different sets for normal and M wheels. Then a choice of soft-touch black or chrome. Unfortunately you're looking at about £300 for any set.

The top ones are the same for all steering wheels apart from the rubber coating

It’s only the lower front M one that is a different shape.

Yes, but BMW sell them as a set. Just checked the Sytner website as they list all the different types, part numbers are as follows:

Non-M, non-MFSW, 'pearlish chrome' (perlglanz chrom): 32346785702 (£317.18)
Non-M, non-MFSW, 'ruthenium': 32348035327 (£215)
Non-M, MFSW, 'graphit': 32346765626 (£149)
Non-M, MFSW, 'chrom line': 32346785703 (£212)
Non-M, MFSW, 'ruthenium': 32348035328 (£215)
M, non-MFSW, 'softlack schw' (softtouch black): 32348035325 (£303.07)
M, MFSW, 'softlack schw': 32348035326 (£303.07)

There's also apparently a set with and without MFSW for a wood-ring steering wheel, if anyone has one of those.
