The time has now come for me to get serious and ideally looking for the above roadster.
Am aware of the ones listed here, and a few on ebay / FB etc.
If you may be thinking of selling, please dont hesitate to PM me.
Budget is max £8k; living in Scotland limits viewing, but happy to travel for the right one.
Thanks to all who have given helpful advice so far - its really appreciated.
Dave.

Hi, I will selling my E85 manual 3.0l se in a couple of weeks time.

2004 Z4 3.0i SE with 83k miles in fantastic condition inside and out.

One of a kind spec SE roadster with the following factory fitted options:
MSport Full electric memory & heated seats (I haven’t seen another SE like this)
MSport suspension
BMW professional 6CD/Bluetooth radio
BBS 108 18” wheels
Auto wipers and lights
Electric heated dimming wing mirrors

Additional extras:
Cruise control
Roof drop/close on key
Full Miltek stainless steel exhaust (This is how the Z4 should have sounded from the factory).

The car comes with good service history, was garaged and owned by two owners for 13 years.

The bodywork and the roof of the car is incredible for its age with just a few small stone chips.

Garaged throughout my ownership, and currently sorned.

It currently has a private number plate on the car which will be taken off before I sell, the plate in the pics is the original number plate

First to see will buy, when I advertise the car in a couple of weeks time I think the pictures really don’t do it justice how great this car looks.
If your interested I can send you lots of pictures.

Kind regards
Andy

Thanks Andy, ideally holding out for an Si for now, but your car looks very well cared for and a great spec.
May yet be tempted though...

Hello Andy. My last message to you appears to be stuck in my outbox, can you try and pm me again so I can get full details etc.
thanks
Paul

Just picked up an '06 2.5si Sport manual with FSH and only 60k miles, in fantastic condition.
Although I wanted the 3.0, and facelift, I didnt feel it worth the considerable premium for a 3.0si - the prices seem crazy for them. The extra 40 bhp would have been useful, but we will see...

Was lucky, and it popped up on gumtree only 2 hours travel from me, so did the deal the same day. Just as well, as the seller was inundated with (genuine) requests.

Having just picked up one almost the same as yours I would actually question whether the extra BHP is worth the premium 95% of the time.
I recently heard a quote that the 2.2 and 3.0 are also good cars but the 2.5 is the sweet spot.
Having now experienced them all, and given the caveat that where I live is all twisty B-roads then I have to say I agree.
Give me a well sorted 2.5i or 2.5si, on good suspension any day.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy it.

I have only driven it back 100 miles in foul weather, but on one of my favourite roads (Dalveen pass) which I use regularly in the Westfield.
It does seem to need the revs to get the best out of the engine though, but at the moment its severely limited by the diabolically bad headlights!!
(Rubbish tyres on it as well, so they will have to be changed pronto).

Looking forward to using it hood down when these storms have passed.

Congrats on getting it done. I read here that there are pretty good cleaning kits to sort the headlights - then perhaps new bulbs.

Guess new tyres all-round is the spendy but easy bit.

Lights not too bad on main beam, but on dip, very scary if you are travelling a bit - will try and give them the refurb treatment, and decent bulbs first.
I think this Z4 has probably only been a cruising machine, hence why someone has fitted cheap tyres but I knew this before I bought it.
Everything else is spot on.
