FOR SALE E85 M54 Engine Sound Generator Kit

This is the full kit required to retro-fit the sound generator to a 2.2 or 2.5 M54-engined E85.
It will come complete with the inlet elbow, which was new only 12 months ago.

All you need to do is use the plastic joint piece between the inlet pipe and the elbow from your car as the 2.2 and 2.5 had a slightly smaller diameter pipe from the MAF to the elbow.

Apologies for the photo quality as it is currently still fitted in the car.

I can highly recommend this mod if you are looking for a bit of extra sound from your six cylinders without impacting on the neighbours.

This is a great mod. My E85 came with a silly straight through exhaust and it was way too loud. I put a standard one back on but removed both foam bungs from the sound generator. Now I get a lovely quiet car around town but great engine noise when you give a bit of stick. I think it's the most sensible mod for decent sound without annoying your neighbours and wrecking your eardrums.
