E85 M Tilt Steering Lever

Have an M Roadster, obviously traditional power steering - no electronic. Had the car since 2008 & I snapped off the tilt steering adjustment lever with my leg years ago. Thinking about finally replacing it.

You can see it from the bottom of the shroud without taking anything apart and apparently the lever and the whole pivot rod is one unit. Anyone had this apart?
 
Thank you. I’m trying gauge what type of headache it is to replace this. It looks like steering column has to be dropped. Wondering if it’s a huge hassle, if so may just leave it. Oddly enough it lists M & non M as same tilt lever.
 
Probably just needs the plastic trim removed to get access to replace the lever.

The interiors are pretty much the same on all the Z4's even though the M has the normal steering so there will be shared parts.
