I recently added fog lights to my 2003 Z4 that I found at a wrecking yard. I also salvaged the light switch which I assume is the LCM. When I did the switch replacement, I got the tamper dot and the high beams did not work. After much research, I discovered that the replacement LCM needs to be programmed. So, I purchased a cable and INPA/EDIBAS/NCSExpert/NCSDummy software. Now I just need someone to tell me how to program the VIN and mileage into the LCM. More importantly, can the software I have be used to do this? I have seen posts that advocate another software/scanner, but I am hoping I can do it with what I have.
