E85 key repair / replacement

Hi, bought my first Z4 yesterday, minor bits to sort out but overall very happy with it.

One problem is that there is only one key and its pretty battered / glued back together!

Does anyone on here offer a repair /replacement service? Found some old posts but none recent

Thanks

Steve

These guys are spot-on - http://bmkeys.com/

I used them a few years back for me E39. You'd have to send them the key, but they'd replace the battery, fix anything that isn't working and put it in a new case typically. (They did on my 39 one at least.) I'm sure it only cost about 40 quid, for which I thought the new case would look cheap, but it was bang-on.

Give them a shout

Can they also provide a second key? Or is that something you need to have the car there for to code it etc?
Interested as wifey's only has one key plus the plastic valet thing.

I'm not sure tbh. I had two keys so sent a spare to get one as new one back. I think they have to have the circuit board out of your key.

Give them a shout, see if they can produce a second one.
