[E85] Identifying OEM sport strings

Hello,

Is there an easy way to identify if springs are normal or sports ones just by photos or by phone talk with seller (like asking to measure them etc.)? I am trying to buy used OEM rear strings to E85 with sports suspension, but most seller just know that springs they are sellings are from '2003 Z4' etc.

Does 3 blue dots mean that springs are sports?

Yes, I believe so. My sport springs had 3 blue dots on them when I removed them.

I personally wouldn't buy 2nd hand OEM springs as they're liable to snapping. Money wasted. A much better idea is to purchase a set of Eibach springs, which give a nice drop and don't snap.

Can you measure height of them? Not on the car ofc I see 2 cheap pairs of sports one on market, with blue markers, but there is not "Sports suspension" in description

I am not sure the length is the best way of telling what kind of springs they are.

They should have a PN on them. What is it?

If I can find them in the garage later I'll measure and look at the Part numbers for you
