E85 heated seats

Last summer bought a 3.0 e85 with custom leather interior & seats. Does not have heated seats and want to know if you can upgrade to heated without changing the whole seat? Thanks
 
Hi, what year is your z4? Mine is an early build of Jan 04 and it had the pre wiring already installed so just a matter of fitting in the new heated seats and putting a replacement switch panel with the heated seat buttons, all plug and play. I do actually have some standard non sport heated and electric seats for sale if you are interested as recently changed them out the the dream red sports ones.
 
Sorry just seen you want to retro fit to custom seats, can be done but would mean getting donner heated seat pads, removing the covers and putting back in but would also have to be an early z4 or you will need a new wiring looms.
