It is not designed to be done but is just about doable with a lot of time and care from what I remember.
Whilst it isn't in the 'How To' sections, a more general search may throw up the info you require.
Also, just be sure you are looking in the right area as you have put this in the E89 section but your title says E85.

Almost impossible to remove the sealant they use once apart.
Seen some put them in a oven, i think got to be brave to do that.
I ended up destroying the lens using a dremel tool to fit the new.
