E85 Headlamp replacement

Having been shown the lengths that sk93 went to, to disassemble the headlamp unit I have decided to try and source a second hand replacement for mine (the standard unit with the orange reflector). Looking at the unit it looks like damp has got in as all the inside of the lens is stained.
I have tried looking on eBay and the 'spares' databases around, but there doesn't seem to be many readily available.

I am watching one on eBay at the moment which I hope to secure, but wondered if anyone had some source for such parts

Not many around.

Just set up a search on ebay and perhaps call some local breakers yards.

You could post details in the thread of what you're after. Black or silver, halogen or xenon.

ive spent the last few weeks looking due to my drivers side one being damage, all i can say is good look, im now looking for aftermarket lights as this is the only reasonable route for me. i did contact BMW to see how much a light would be and the price came to £740 NOT inc VAT. and thats for just one unit with no bulbs. I called and made hundreds of requests to breakers all over the country with no luck!

That's the price of a xenon unit Halogens are £350.

You'd expect 10-20% off those prices
