E85 hardtop water ingress

As per title, I’m getting some damp inside the car when the hardtop is fitted, Iv tried to adjust the roof to the manufactures guide with an as close to 5mm gap around the car but Iv noticed the internal lock covers are soaked! Mainly the drivers side. The car also get very humid inside fogging up the windows which is a bit of a pain.

Could it be the window leaking or the seal on the roof?

Any ideas as to what I can do to prevent this from happening?

Thanks
Arthur

I would say water must be getting in around the window rubber seal and running around to the lowest point and soaking the lock cover. Have you checked the carpets in the foot wells and under the seats ? The rubber window seals go hard with age and don't seal so well against the glass. I believe you can adjust the angle of the window glass but this may then affect how it seals against the soft top rubbers
