E85 Hard tops

As most of you are aware New hardtops are for sale in Germany for a very keen 800 euros, brand new boxed with a two year warranty in various colours........

The problem is getting them back to the UK. I have been in contact with a few shipping companies (as you can guess they are large and do not fall in the usual courier sizes) and have a price for one, i am currently finding out if they can offer me a group price.

Early days as for one i dont speak German and i would like to get some European shippers on board.

Can you let me know if you are interested and we will see if we can firm up on prices, If there is anyone who speaks german we may be able to get a discount from the supplying dealer let me know.
 
Well, Im going to be offline for a couple of weeks (Hospital, unfortunately) but if you need any help towards the end of Feb drop me a line as I am a) in Germany and b) speak German.

My 3,0i came with a hardtop, so i dont need one, but I can ask around for you or translate any docs you may pick up
 
Many thanks Pog I was worried i may miss out so i just dived in and bought one, i also managed to arrange shipping so fingers crossed it all goes to plan..

Hope your trip to hospital is just a minor one so get well soon. :)
 
Can you let folks know where you got yours from? A link would be good. I speak a little German and my best bud is German and I know she'll help out :)

Navid is correct, the guys do speak English it was more for a local shipping company however i managed to find a guy from england who was happy to do the pick up.

Im in the market for a hard top at the moment, and was eyeing up one of those from Germany. Are you able to divulge who you hired to collect it for you, please ?
