My nearside highbeam light isn't working. It wasn't working a few weeks ago and so I replaced the bulb...but that wasn't the problem. After spraying some contact cleaner and giving it a wiggle the light came back on for a week or so.
It's gone again and no amount of contact cleaner or wiggling is working.
Have tried to clean out the spade connectors but they don't look particularly corroded.
Seem to recall I've read something about dodgy connectors in the past but is it likely the bulb holder or something further back in the loom.
I'm confused though, as with the engine running and lights on I'm getting 14v at the connector...so it's got power.
Any help appreciated, it was bad enough with two working candles but driving with 1 candle is even less fun
