A spare one sat in your garage, shed etc. and never fitted?

I did find a solution recently as I felt the same

I’ll send a link but an e24 wheel centre cap glued onto the existing base badge works wonders

How did it turn out? Was you able to glue the centre cap reasonably flat to the base of the badge? (no gaps or anything around the edge?)

I ordered one of these, and the size is fine. Maybe I was unlucky, but the badge I got was scratched and scuffed badly and certainly not what I would class as new. I've emailed the seller with pics and requested to exchange it as it would work fine.

Update for anyone contemplating doing this in the future:

36131122132 bought and fitted, the rear of the new badge is concave so fits reasonably well over the existing Z4 badge. Face of the existing badge roughed up with some sandpaper to allow some two-part epoxy glue to fix the 2 together nicely



For the sake of £9.50 for the badge I think it is worthwhile doing. Clearly it is not as smart as a new/correct replacement badge however still a reasonable cheaper option
