I'm need to source 07 onwards rear tail lights to fit a Z4M rear bumper. Shocked at what BMW rob you for new items, are there any other sources for these lights other than the few that pop up on flea bay? Any help would be appreciated.

Might take a while to find a set. They're a highly desired item for owners of 03-05 cars. Keep your eyes peeled on eBay, Gumtree etc and snap up the first set you find at a decent price....

2006-2008 is the years you need and they fit not just the M rear, scrap yards "Fab direct" "Quary motors" they are rare and still cost a bit.....mine were £141
Hi Jonny. We're they a pain to fit as in wiring wise or straight forward? Cheers.

The lights are not plug and play, you need to switch a couple of wires around in the car loom plug, also you need to cut down the bulb holders to make the light fit against the car body as the holes in the body dont line up with the facelift light. After that you need to code the car to switch the T effect off, change the voltage from 6v to 12v and deactivate bulb checking so warning light on dash isn't illuminated.

Plug and play simple BUT a f***ing pain in the arse as you really do need the light surrounds too as the facelift lights are slighlty different shape and can let water in but the surrounds are even more rare as you need the cars colour, plus you need to re-programme as they throw up a light out warning and only one of the reverse lights work.
Ive only fitted the lights and had to modify the surrounds as water was pissing in when it rained but i will source from BMW and paint via a local paint shop but like i said get surrounds too and you can always respray
Thanks Jonny. It's never a simple fix is it. I've probably had less stress fitting the V10 in to my motor than the lights look to be.

is worth a look. I read it a few times before I understood it properly.

Oh naw. It's never simple all a want is to fit a m series rear bumper so I can run twin exit exhausts for my V10 install. Tell you what, you supply a V10 motor I'll fit it in your motor and you can fit ma lights.
