e85 exhaust options

Also talk to mchine monkey about and exhaust bypass mod!! I'm getting him to do mine soon, very cost effective way of massively improving the sound of the exhaust without getting a new one :D

Eh? What's this Style website you speak of? The url

suggests you have may an interest in being 'good with colours' rather than big loud quad exhaust trumpets! :poke:
 
Whats the details monkey? ;)

Was looking at getting a different centre section like an eismann (sp) to change the sound but dont know of it will mate with a standard system?
 
There are loads of options out there if your replacing exhaust parts. The Bypass pipe is welded into the existing system. Its 2 1" diameter pipes the idea is that it lets some gas out the system without going through the rear silencer. So it increases noise a little. It wont help performance but i don't think the aftermarket exhausts do much any way?

The quad system although not expensive for me to make. About £150 would cover costs and my time. Its the fitting that is labor intensive and time consuming. Same as the bypass pipes really I can let you have a set for £20 probably but its the fitting of them.

The single best mod I've had done, relatively cheap at £225 for the back box (no need to change the pipes as they are already s/s).
Lovely noise with no booming, I used Powerflow at Stafford, cannot recommend highly enough.

Is the Mstyle one the cheapest path to 4 pipe heaven at around £600 fitted?

I really have to do this mod soon. 8)

Yeah read that but not easy to summarise who does them and for how much. Mstyle say £620 on their website but they are in London and I'm in North East. There are hints that Longlife are cheaper but many seem to slag these guys off big style so I doubt I'll even bother to consider them (They have a place in Newcastle). Then Topgear at Doncaster are mentioned but no price and no decent pics and the exhaust link on their website doesn't work.

So looks like I'm back to square one which is just contact local custom shops for one off quotes.
 
Just a word of caution - i *think* it's 'mstyle' i've read numerous bad customer service reviews of.. search the forum just in case!

Keep us informed on your decision, i'm tempted to try and whip in an exhaust mod before i run around Europe in August! :o
