E85 E86 Z4 headlight washer

E85 E86 headlight washer
Bought for my E85 which has now unfortunately gone to the car graveyard.
Though they have different part numbers both sides are interchageable as the nozzle where the rubber tube attaches rotates for placement.

£20
Available in South Cheshire very close to Junction 16 M6, can post if postage paid for.

Does this 100% not leak? If so then I will be interested as mine empties the water bottle within a few days...

I was told that it doesn't leak by the person that I bought it from but now have no way of testing it as my car has gone. If you know of a way of testing it without my car I'd be more than happy to try it out.
 
I'm no expert but i would suggest hooking up a pipe to it and place bottle of water above it so it emulates the setup in the car, and see if it drips?

Something along those lines anyway...

Just let gravity do it's thing. Being that mine emptys a bottle in a week, it should be obvious if it is leaking.

Hi Bob123, presuming there is no update on this and you still have it, I'm inclined to just take a risk and have it off you depending on what price you want for it posted?

Sorry, haven't been able to test it yet due to time commitments and needing to source a pipe to attach to it. I've PM'd you.
 
Thanks for that one :thumbsup:

I am going to pull the fuse and plug the tube instead as it is not an MOT failure and I never use them (nor want to).
 
Sod it, for a fiver you can’t go wrong with trying to fix it. Thanks again :D
