Apart from maybe the adhesive on plasters and any ointments etc, the date is a little bit irrelevant surely?
I know someone will worry that you'll get sued if you use out of date stuff on a casualty, but in reality, are you going to tell them you'll have to let them bleed to death because your bandage is a bit too old. :?
Plasters last forever, I still use the 25 meter roll I bought 30 years ago. Bandages tend to actually no longer roll I found. Iodine had left the building when I opened the bottle.
