Hi guys, I purchased recently from a forum member a BMW Z4 E85/E86 Aux In Socket and Panel.
I have not fitted it as I have decided to go via another route as far as my incar audio is concerned.

I paid £15+postage so, I’m selling for the same price.

Cheers.

Sorry for the stupid question but where does this panel go?
hi, not a stupid question at all.
Below the dials that operate the heater/aircon should be a blank removable panel.
You would remove the panel and replace it with the above.
There are some good vids on YouTube.

Cheers

hi, I’m confident it does but I’d still confirm with an E85 owner. :D
Sorry, I’ve only ever had E86’s thus not familiar with the cabin of the E85.
That being said, the cabins are kinda identical so I see no reason why it would not fit?

The panel will fit, but there may be a compatibility issue with the head unit. I think (plenty of threads on here to search) that the earlier head unit needs a resistor in the wiring so that it recognises the aux input. You can get the correct wiring from fruitycables, but obviously that is an extra cost.
