E85 Drains

Yep, it can take a bit of finding, you just need to have a good route around from underneath, when you locate it you will know, might find it's a bit wet

I removed my bungs ages ago, then had the motor moved to the correct place, bungs are still out, I just wear ear plugs to cancel out the extra noise :D :D

Located at last. Car needs jacked up slightly though to be able to access from underneath. Did have a feel about the bungs both are dry inside. Hope that's good news.

Not necessarily, the bungs can be dry if the blockage is at the top by the motor-pour some water down the back of the roof & see if it flows through & out the bungs, that will confirm (or not!) the drains are clear.

Happy days both drains flowing straight through after the water test. Any tips on how to keep them clear of debris and dirt?

Good news, although your motor could still be wet.
Dirt and debris are going to get in there one way or another (unless its a garage queen). Best bet is to stump up £80 and get the motor relocated to the boot (there are several forum members who provide this service). Its worth the peace of mind alone

Did my drains for the first time today, found them to be clean and dry which isn't a surprise considering it lives in a garage. Not sure how you're all doing this without going in through the wheel arch hatch, I can't fit my hand into the gap under the car.

If you drive over a couple of planks or a curb it will give you the extra space you need
