E85 Colour

My Z4 Log book says its Black but it looks midnight blue, any clues as to the colour name and is my log book wrong.
 
If you ring bmw with last 6 digits of chasis number or plate and they will tell you which it is or should be.

Last 3 digits should confirm your colour.
 
Put 7 last digits of your chassis number and check it from link.

Thanks for the help, apparently its Carbon schwarz Metallic (416). just wasn't Shure why log book says black.

but that's mechanical, not electrical - well in a E85 it is :wink: - so that's no excuse. :)

Mind you, you'd search fruitlessly all day on a E89 :rofl:
 
Carbon Black, same as mine. Definitely more blue than black. However just like Ruby black they are all listed as black on V5s.

Sorry meant to be first 3 digits, half way down vin plate on left hand side. Tells you the actual colour underneath.

Ruby Black gets listed as red half the time :(
