Good morning all,

Bought the Zed a while back but it had an airbag light issue. Went in to Indie and he said it was the Control Unit, he said it's not going to be an issue until it comes to re-doing the MOT (no idea how it passed with the light on in the first place .... :? )

Been doing some digging and think I'm after the 65776935920 .... anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks in advance!

google that number.
Keep us posted re. progress as I've got an airbag light on too.

It passed by putting a sticker over the airbag light on the dash

One of the first things I did. Many links just state that its a Control Module, few diagrams, one or two for a brand new unit... not really something I want to fork out $250-300 for.

Not even going to bother contacting BM for a local quote...

Kind of hoping someone has a spare? Just sitting around?

In all honestly I don't think the sticker thing even happened. Somehow it just sailed through :?

Much like one of the tyres I pulled off the car

So yeah....

crikey that looks like its a few miles away from catastrophic sidewall delamination!

My car had seen a lot of air bag action. Rather than change the unit which will also pick up the faults, I would advise you have the car scanned by diagnostics. I had a number of faults e.g squib and seat belt pretensioner. I changed the faulty items and simply had the system reset. Light off and all is good

Hiya DannyTheDuck, thanks for your post. I'm 99% sure it's been scanned, everything reset and module fault reoccurs. I've been on another thread where other users have had issues with the module itself. The other elements are all fine.

But good shout, worth me trying it out myself to see what outcome I get. Will try dig out the code reader and I'll report back.
