I don't suppose you have the plastic part it's normally attached to do you?
 
It’s just as it is - I must admit I don’t remember there being a plastic “collar” if that’s what you are referring too.

It was the collar I was after, but now I'll have to go and check that there is one! :lol:
 
A bit of a long story, but my car came with the much-loved ZHP gear-knob, but among other bits in the boot was an illuminated one - off an F10 M5 I suspect complete with gaitor but no collar.

I thought I'd rather try to attach it to a "spare" collar before potentially wrecking my good gaitor! Seeing as I believe M's came pre-wired for illumination, and a bit of bling holds a certain appeal. :roll:
