E85 - 3.0si - Headlight Bulb Replacement

Hello,

After a bit of advice please, it looks like the high beam headlamp bulb (position 2 in owners manual) has failed on my 2007 3.0si and I’m looking to replace it.

I’ve had a look in the owners manual and it states that the bulb is a H7 halogen. However, it looks like I have Xenon head lights on the car. Big sticker that says ‘danger of death’ under the bonnet and the usual blue tinge.

Looking at the car the bulb thats not out it is not a Xenon so I should be safe to change it.

Could anyone confirm what type of bulb this is please?

The bulb type is printed on the headlamp lense, I believe it's a h7 for halogen or d2s for xenon

You can also tell what it had originally from the light-switch.

If there are two thumbwheels it had Halogens, Bi-Xenons only had one as they are self-levelling.
