Hi all - I've been watching the thread daily since I joined, hoping that the right Zed would pop up, If anyone is thinking about selling theirs or already has one for sale that I've missed, let me know.

Pre F\L 3.0L Manual 100,000 or less (ideally)

I'm not looking for a project just a nicely looked after car that's after a good home

Hi car has been very well looked after, FSH,Last owned by Mechanic garage owner,before that his Nephew, M Sport wheels,Newish front tyres Michelin pilot sport,new pulley Tensioner,new serpentine belt,new Airton belt,new Valve cover gasket ,Genuine BMW parts.6 cd changer.8 speakers,Amp in boot.cup holders,Heated seats memory seats,cruise control in steering wheel not wired up.Car is a pleasure to drive.70,000.miles.All receipts etc.2 sets of keys all wallets.looking for about.£6000.

Sounds nice. Don’t quite understand what you mean about the steering wheel and the cruise control. Do you mean that cruise control is fitted and that a MFSW has been fitted but is not wired up? Whereabouts in the country are you? Thanks

Hi I'm in the West Country 10 miles from Exeter South Devon.Was told cruise control in steering wheel just need loom to be wired in,never bothered to be honest.

Just started prepping my 3.0i auto for sale.
87k miles, full aero kit, loads of goodies. Mountain of paperwork. MOT due in a couple of weeks which will be sorted before selling. Will advertise for £5500

Is it just me that’s confused by this thread, the opening poster hasn’t stated a max budget and then a second poster asks for price details of a car offered and says it’s above his budget…. Two posters seeking Z4’s, neither have stated a budget :?

No need to be confused, I didn't originally put a budget - but I should be able to get a nice one for amount £5-5500 so that's what I have in mind. I've seen some absolute stunning cars sell on here for less. Cheers

In all seriousness, it was the apparent blatant thread hijack… but obvious didn’t convey that in my earlier post

I completely understand if you want a manual; but if someone has told you that you really should get a manual, then I would at least keep an open mind and get in one and find out. Auto sports cars are fine and have their own advantages. I haven’t had an auto Z, but they seem to be well thought of on this forum. Get what you want, not what someone else tells you.

That looks like an excellent prospect for someone. I’m fairly certain the software can be updated on the auto-box to make the gear changes much faster in ‘manual’ mode too.
