e85 3.0i oil filter TJ QFLO226

did an oil change today, well almost, the tj QFLO226 oil filter BADGED BY QUINTON HAZELL did not fit, too tight and would not drop down - so i have learned my lesson and will get a bmw one tomorrow for 14 quid
Any similar experiences ?
 
Did they send the wrong filter?

I usually get mine from Opie Oils along with some Millers Nanodrive.
 
I had a bosch one from euro car parts where the centre was too small to fit, a MANN one fitted fine.

i bought it from a local car spares shop :o . , but figured a QH product be ok... i checked the part number, seems to be the right number..
 
I bought the mann filter from euro carparts at the weekend with the endless sale it cost £5.22 and fit perfectly
