E85 3.0i manual and 2.5 Auto diffs the same?

Hey all,

I want to drop in a 2.5 Auto diff to my 3.0 manual car - will it bolt straight in? I know the ratio is different which will help acceleration but want to be certain it goes straight in as also planning to get an LSD fitted which will be an expensive mistake if I don't get it right!

The casings can be slightly different e.g. Number of drain/fill holes but I believe they all have the same dimensions and mounting points.
If you're putting an LSD in then refurbish another rear sub frame would be my solution, but you do need to research putting the LSD in.

Cheers Scooba - Plan of action for me is to fit it first without the LSD to check the ratio's and fitments work ok then take it out again later when I can afford to put the LSD in
